Hillsborough's East Coast Media & Printing Expands Mailing Capabilities By Acquiring L & M Mailing

East Coast Media announced today that it has increased its direct mail capabilities by acquiring L & M Mailing of Hillsborough. The move was made late in December, but not until January 4th did the staff report to East Coast's 21,000 sq ft building located on Park Ave just off Route 206 in Hillsborough.

L & M Mailing formerly located in the Belle Mead section of Hillsborough is a 32 year old private company headed up by Mike Beirne. Much like East Coast, L & M began as a small startup business years ago and grew to be a reliable mail house source for many area businesses, publishers and colleges. Mike will join East Coast Media & Printing as their new Mail Manager inheriting an already busy mail department.

Mike Beirne says "The US Postal Service is going through many changes and it has become more complicated to perform business mailings. I was looking for someone to join that shared my commitment to personalized service and fair pricing, East Coast does. With their tremendous capabilities, technology, new facility and customer service team, we are positioned to handle any project a customer hands us."

L & M joining adds one thing to East Coast Media that they never had before, the #1 business mail permit at the Hillsborough Post Office. Only customers of East Coast will have the option to use the #1 indicia on standard and first class mail. "It is a nice touch that customers like" says Beirne. East Coast currently has permits at both Hillsborough and Manville, but complicated rules require them to visit post offices throughout the state, depending on the type of mailing.
